Lukewarm?

Hey group!  Great meeting this past week.  From the worship to the games to the smallgroup time I'm really having a blast getting to know you all.  Know its been awhile since I posted so I promise to get on this.  Here are just a few updates before I share a little devotional:

1.) This week's smallgroup (Thursday 3/11) will be held upstairs at the big church.  Its game night so bring your favorites!  We got a competitive group so it'll be fun.

2.) April 8th we will heading out to worship concert headlined by Mercy Me and the David Crowder Band.  Its only $10 at the door and its in Long Beach at the Long Beach Arena.  Let me know if your down to go.

Lukewarm?

"So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth."-Revelation 3:16

Pretty crazy verse!  Have we allowed our priorities to get so out of line so that they now overtake God?  Has the passionate love for Christ that we hopefully all experienced one time or another slowly faded as its replaced by friends, college, work, or other hobbies?  We need to take steps to put Christ right back where he belongs.  That make look differently for all of us (quiet time in the car, serving, worship, sitting in silence, etc.) but we need to take those steps today.  No relationship lasts unless we put time into it.  With God its no different!  Make that time today. One of the things God will not tolerate is a lukewarm believer.  Lets find that passion for him and it can all start with just a few minutes in his prescence!
